点评：A must hike for those who love mountain rain forest of Grenada. Mount Qua Qua can be easily reached from Grand Etang in 1hr, the path is well beaten. Expect a few steep sections and muddy terrain, but nothing really to be worried about. I wanted to extend my hiking experience and travel like a local, so I have included three beautiful waterfalls ( Au Coin Falls, Fountainbleu Falls and Concord Waterfalls) to my adventure. I started from Grand Anse taking the bus No 1 (EC $2.50) to the bus terminal in St George’s, then took bus No 6 (EC $5.00) to Grand Etang - where the trailhead to Mt. Qua Qua is. Continuing from Mt. Qua Qua to Au Coin falls (Concord Village direction) may be challenging as the path is not quite visible and clear. If travelling without a guide, ensure you know how to navigate the dense jungle, having a good map with you and a gps is advisable. Once you reach Au Coin Falls the trail is easy to follow to the next waterfall (Fountainbleu Falls) then Concord Falls. From the last waterfall, I followed the paved road (~3.5 km) to the main road to get bus No 5 (EC $3.50) to St George’s, then No 1 bus to my hotel in Grand Anse. I hiked ~ 11km , 300m elevation gain, for about 5hrs and 1/2.
