点评：Every Indian should visit this place at least once for sure.
The transformation of this place from a no tourist activity to now a buzzing activity in few years is just remarkable.
It is definitely senior citizen friendly with lots of travel options within the SOU complex us per your budget.
The train service from Mumbai is a great option with lots of stay options around from extreme luxury to budget friendly ones.
If you are traveling with senior citizens and need to cover all the attractions then you require 3 days and if you are semi fit and do long walks 2 days are good enough.
I was a bit sceptical about the statue when it was in making , but it has transformed this place completely with so much employment and business opportunities.
The place is completely clean and special mention to the security keeping it stain free of pan and gutka spitting that too in Gujarat as nothing passes through the security only baby food , water and medicine are allowed.
Enjoyed the laser show on the statue and Sardar Sarovar Dam as well, very beautiful and informative.
