点评：We came to Tortola and Nanny Cay to dive with Bluewater Divers. (Hopefully the positive impact the dive shop on Nanny Cay merchants will not pass unnoticed.) Once that decision was made, the Marina Hotel was the logical place to stay. (We relied on taxis and the Marina is somewhat isolated.) The diving was excellent and the Marina provided a good base of operations. The rooms are clean. Not all the balcony views are equal, but that was not a prime consideration. The cleaning crew usually was done by early afternoon, but our room was passed over once in a four day stay - a quick call to the front desk was all it took to take care of the oversight.
Check in was relatively smooth - you do carry your own bags to your room - again, not a problem for us. The coffee shop is a lovely place for a pre-dive breakfast. The prices are steep, but no more so than any other place to eat. (There is a convenience store where you can get basics for less, and use the room's microwave and coffee maker if you like. Be aware, even if you request only non-decaf, you'll get one of each every day.)
Although the area seems very secure, the room did not have a safe. It seems an odd omission given how frequently safes are provided in the room by almost every hotel/motel.
There is a pool and two nearby restaurants to choose from. There were mosquitos, but they were not bad.
The hotel front desk is also the best place to arrange for a taxi.
Although the hotel is rather the only act in town, it's a pretty good act.
