Efficient ferry, terminal in uninspiring environment though
Terminal Promowy Stena Line的点评
点评:Some observations from my Gdynia to Karlskrona ferry trip: Don't arrive early at the Gdynia terminal as a foot passenger - there's absolutely nothing to do there, especially not on Mondays; on other days, the Emigration Museum might be an option to spend some time, but it's closed on Mondays. The rather stark and sparsely decorated terminal building at least provides vending machines for coffee and a small selection of snacks, but that's about it. Service was friendly and rebooked me on an earlier departure for a small fee (there were two ferry departures this evening and I had originally booked the later one). The boat itself was the very modern Stena Estelle. Like on other Stena ferrries, don't expect Color Line-like luxury, but it has nice restaurants, a bar and shop. Everything went smoothly. In Karlskrona, the ferry terminal is quite far away from the city centre and the railway station, but there's a regular bus connection. Paper tickets are available at a ticket machine in the departure hall. If you manage to catch the very first bus on arrival, still expect about an hour for the transfer to the centre, otherwise 30 minutes more.
