Mid Ocean Club的点评
点评：I don’t like writing negative reviews, but I feel I need to warn other golfers of Mid Ocean. I’ve played well over a hundred golf courses, and I have to say that Mid Ocean is one of the worst I have played in my life. Why? Because there is no value in playing here: it has a layout of a municipal course, and to rent clubs and play here costs over $500 per player. Mid Ocean is a pretty course, and the greens and bunkers were in good shape. However, the whole island of Bermuda is gorgeous, so if you want the views, then take a walk on the island. Mid Ocean’s layout itself is quite boring (parallel fairways, minimal bunkers that aren’t in play, lack of hazards, etc.). Also, the driving range is awful (limited-flight balls you hit way downhill and don’t get to see where they land). If you want pretty views AND a good layout, go play Kiawah, Sea Island, Whistling Straits, Wolf Creek, The Links at Spanish Bay, or Tidewater (North Myrtle Beach… regarding layout, I could name 50 courses in Myrtle better than Mid Ocean). If you have money to burn, then play here. Otherwise, save your money and go take a nice golf trip somewhere else.
