点评：This was the second year we have visited and toured. A wonderful glimpse back to the 19th and early 20th centuries. Steve was again our guide. He’s deeply knowledgeable about the farm, its history, the history of St. Croix, and agricultural in general and especially about agriculture on St. Croix. He is an experienced farmer, historian, as well as a gentle spirited and wise gentleman. In many ways he made this not only an interesting but a profound experience. Well worth the suggested $15.00 donation. One young man on the tour could not take his nose out of his cell phone. His parents should have made him stay in their car. One group of 4 “tourists” balked at the “suggested” $15.00 donation because “It only said $10.00 on the internet.” So they “saved” a total of $20.00 for their group. If you are an idiot or want to act like one and don’t like to learn, don’t take this fascinating tour.
