Sensational show, far less than sensational dinner
Oregon Cabaret Theatre的点评
点评：I had the great pleasure of seeing one of my favorite live musicals, “Little Shop of Horrors” here at the Oregon Cabaret Theater. The cast, the set, the puppeteering were sensational. Pre-show dinner, however, was “horror-ific.” I had the chicken and pasta. The chicken was supposed to be breaded with a crispy crust similar to a Panko crust but was incredibly limp and soggy. The penne pasta was cooked well-short of all dente and was drowned in a flavorless mushroom cream sauce. The pre-entrée salad that was included with dinner was limp, tough and overdressed. I’ve had better food in coach class on an airplane. I would highly encourage you to take in a performance here. But opt for a pre-dinner elsewhere, like at the next-door restaurant Hearsay, Alchemy located behind the theater around the corner, or Larks located in the Ashland Springs Hotel at the foot of the hill.
