点评:The long, tree-lined driveway is impressive, as is the college as it comes into view. The pond had some unusual feathered friends waddling around it; they looked like a cross between geese and turkeys, and were rather noisy! Only the chapel was accessible in the main building, but it contained some interesting plaques. The Principal's Lodge (the original house of 1670) is now a library and offices, but we were there on a Saturday and able to go up the impressive wooden staircase to peer through the doors into the rooms upstairs. The chapel next door was closed but we could look inside (it was empty anyway). There was no information about the plantation and slavery, unfortunately. The grounds are lovely with nice views, but unfortunately the cafe was closed and we were parched! The toilets were open, though.
