Great ride punctuated by a puncture!

点评：A perfect sunny, breezy day's ride around Grafham Water. There is more hill than you might expect between Grafham and Mander though it is very flat between Grafham and Mander on the Harbour Wall part of the ride. I had a puncture at the top of the hill at Littless Woods and had to walk about half a mile to get a phone signal and then another mile to get to Mander carpark where a helpful staff member met me and quickly swopped my wheel out for another. I found the scenery, the cafe at Mander, the wildlife fantastic. The bike did the job but the saddle was very uncomfortable for a woman. It would be great if women's bikes were available and also if we could have bells on the bikes. There are several signs for blind bends asking you to ring your bell but not an option on these hire bikes. Also don't forget you are likely to pay £12 parking on top of the hire charges. However it is an excellent day / half day out.
