点评：What a nice shop in the centre of inveraray,we had trouble entering the premises as the door was a little stiff so the wife tells me, any excuse to keep me out of a whiskie shop, we were about to walk away until a voice from inside shouted turn the handle.In we went to be greeted by the proprietor Andy I presume, we had a look roun̈d, the shop has a large variety of interesting objects.Andy then asked if there was anything he could help us with, it was then that I noticed that he has a collection of fine whiskies, he told us that he stocks a lot of individual whiskies that you don't see on supermarket shelves, this interest me as I'm a great believer in supporting independents, he started to tell me about a bottle of blended whiskie and asked if I'd like to try it of course no hesitation it was smooth and very satisfying he asked my wife if she would like to try she told him no thank you I'm a gin girl Andy then produced a local gin made in inveraray and gave her a try of that, she said that it reminded her of the irish poiteen and she really enjoyed it, so to cut a long enjoyable story short we bought a bottle of each and Andy gave my wife a little gin tasting glass to remind her of our visit, just to make sure we had a little nip of the gin on our way out, so a massive thank you to Andy and his amazing shop for his knowledge and of course his hospitality, so if you find yourself in the beautiful town of Inveraray call in to see Andy at the FYNE MALTS OF INVERARAY engage in conversation with Andy a nice friendly gentleman.
