点评：I cannot praise this experience enough . It was magical and I will always remember it fondly. Popic are great ambassadors for all the joy that Korcula has to offer ! We took the three island boat directly to Lumbarda on a Saturday afternoon and after a short walk along the front, stopping for a photo opportunity by the Andy Capp wall mural , we could see the junction where the market is. We used the cash machine there as we knew to pay cash at Popic. Then we turned left up the hill and passing another larger supermarket on the road on the left we soon arrived at the signposted right turn to Popic . Although we arrived twenty minutes before the 1 o clock opening without a reservation, we were greeted kindly and seated on the gorgeous veranda. Over the next few hours we were treated to great views and the three tastings and small platter for an absolute bargain of a price ! The explanation of the grapes was very clear and interesting . The wine and food were delicious , pure and natural tastes in amazing surroundings in the comfort and sunshine . The experience was leisurely and unrushed . Our hostess was lovely and kind and genuinely welcoming . I only wished we could have carried more than the one prized bottle of rosé I have chilling in my fridge waiting to be drunk .
The feel good factor of this trip is beyond monetary value but to put the value of the experience into a cash perspective , one small glass of wine of that quality in a bar or restaurant in Korcula town will probably cost you more than Popic 's small platter and three tastings offer !
