Once in a lifetime experience to canoe the Zambezi

点评：My boyfriend and I did a 3 day 2 night canoe safari with River Horse in September 2024. We cannot recommend them enough. Our guide (Cuthbert – CB) was fantastic!! We felt extremely safe and looked after the whole time. He is an experienced guide and we learnt so much from him, alongside having some of the best wildlife encounters we have ever had!! CB looked after us so well throughout and the trip would not have been the same without him – thank you.
We loved camping each night under the stars on various islands and hearing the sounds of the animals as we went to sleep. Canoeing down the Zambezi was amazing, the wildlife encounters from the river were like nothing we had ever experienced from previous jeep safaris – you are able to get up extremely close (as long as you are respectful). CB and Evans (our 2nd guide) were able to expertly guide us around various hippo territories, pointing out birds and many animals along the way. If you like to be outdoors, adventure and wildlife then you will not be disappointed! We cannot recommend this enough!
