点评:The Liverpool Beatles Museum is an absolute must for Beatles fans. The museum is close to the Cavern in Mathew Street, different from "The Beatles Story". The exhibits are packed with fascinating memorabilia, including rare photographs, original instruments, handwritten lyrics, and personal items from John, Paul, George, Ringo and the drummer before Ringo, Peter Best (the unluckiest guy in rock'n roll!). Each floor takes you through a different chapter in their history, from their early days in Liverpool and Hamburg to Beatlemania and their rise to fame.
The layout is well organized, and the displays are detailed, giving insight into both the personal and professional lives of the Beatles. You can expect to spend around 1-2 hours here, and there's so much to see that time flies by. There are audio guides available for a fee (we did not used them, though).
Staff members are friendly. The museum is a bit pricey and could use some paint and maintenance, but the experience is well worth it for fans who want a deeper understanding of the Beatles' legacy. They have a little the gift shop that could be better—there’s not much to recommend there, so save your money for souvenirs elsewhere. We had an amazing time there.
