The path to the easternmost part of the island is a moderately difficult walk, most of the time on narrow, well-trodden or groomed paths, sometimes on paved steps, often up and down. Even if you will be exposed to direct sunlight the entire time you walk in nice weather, the roaring ocean, its various shades of blue water, views of bizarrely shaped cliffs will provide you with an intoxicating patch in the form of an unforgettable theatrical performance, so that you will hardly notice the dryness and exhaustion of your body. Still, honestly, at times I missed the palm fronds and their shade☺️.
The toilets are in the parking lot and then at the refreshment hut on the eastern tip of the island at the end of the first half of the walk.
Better get up early to grab a parking space, because otherwise the walk can get really long.
