点评:This is a great walk, but (certainly the medium or long version) is not suitable for the very young (under about 10) or for many over 70 (though I know that some fit septuagenarians would be fine with it). The path is very rough, very steep in places, and where it's not very rough it's very soft sand, which is almost as exhausting as clambering up rocky paths. Also, don't ignore the signs saying take water and wear a hat. And if you do it in unsuitable shoes you are very likely to twist an ankle, or even fall over a cliff.
But those warnings aside, it is a fantastic walk, with stunning views and the chance of seeing some incredible wildlife. I did the medium length walk, quite enough for an out of condition sexagenarian, and it may be different if you do the full circuit, but although I did see plenty of seals they were basking, barking and mating on the rocks far below the path; you couldn't possibly get close to them, which is presumably one reason they like the place so much.
The beaches are very tempting to swim from, but there are lots of warnings about currents and rip-tides.
There's a very welcome little coffee and refreshment stall at the car park. You can buy (or fill) a bottle of water there. Nice biltong too, which makes a good snack for a half-way round picnic.
