Fabulous museum, customer service needs attention
Grenfell Historic Properties的点评
点评：The Grenfell Historical Society has done an amazing job with its research and presentation about the remarkable Dr Wilfred Grenfell. The entire building and display are attractive, well laid out and extremely informative. Unfortunately Dr Grenfell’s influence and inspiration do not extend to its staff on the reception desk.
The two young women on duty were uninterested, uninformed and generally unhelpful. They seemed unaware of the contents of the museum. Also, after selling us entrance tickets and telling us of the 3 sites which were included, they couldn’t be bothered to tell us about the closing time of Dr Grenfell’s house, even though they saw us approaching it. After returning to tell them it was closed, we were sarcastically informed that of course it was closed for lunch ( no signs indicate this).
Since tourists and donations are presumably very important to the museum’s success, we are both surprised and disappointed that more attention is not paid to customer service in an otherwise fabulous museum.
