Great High-End Winery!

点评：It was an extremely hot Friday afternoon, and we were traveling from the Finger Lakes Wine Country where we live, to Winchester for the night. Always on the search for new-to-us wineries we stopped here.
First of all-it is an amazingly gorgeous space. 27 acres of tasting room, home, and vineyards. The tasting room is spectacular! We were greeted immediately, and grateful for the air conditioning as we walked in. The outside space looked very inviting-but way too hot to make that happen!!
We did a pre-planned tasting of the White Flight. She had us take a seat, and brought over our tasting, with 2 glasses, as we were sharing the flight. I do wish I remembered her name-she was very nice, and very knowledgeable! She also brought us a Chocolate Red wine tasting to share. It is infused with chocolate from Germany. Neither of us are into sweet wines-but this was really good. Perfect for a cold day in the winter-so we will save it for then. Many of their cheeses and wine additions are imported from France.
After the tasting, hubby ordered a glass of Speed of Sound, and I had Taste of the Tropics. We bought a bottle of Speed of Sound and Chocolate Red to bring home. This winery is very lovely, and high end. Prices are high-even for tasting, but the tasting experience is also high end. We do highly recommend this winery.
