点评:We were so lucky to get to St Kilda last week, on a dreich day and a choppy sea. Angus and his son Archie really looked after us and ensured everyone was safely escorted onto the island from the tender. The mists never cleared from the top of the ridge but it made the island even more atmospheric and did not spoil our day. We loved the tour of the sea stacks and Boreray. Cannot begin to imagine what it was like for the islanders who were stranded for months on end, on a bird collecting trip due to an outbreak of chickenpox on St Kilda! The skies were teeming with Puffins, Fulmars, Gannets and many more. Both Angus and Archie were very knowledgeable, pointing out structures, we wouldn't otherwise have seen and full of stories. We still cannot believe the 40 or so sheep we saw on the sea stack! The cuppa and cake when we got back on board were delicious and very welcome x.
