神戶動物王國的点评
点评：PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THING!!
We went to the animal kingdom after hearing a lot of positive reviews about the experience. The 4+ star rating on TripAdvisor (at the time of booking) led us to believe that this would be a really great zoo.
We started off by heading to the capybaras (to feed them before they got full). The capybaras had a large enclosure and seemed to happily wander around, having the choice to interact with people or chill out away from them!
But the experience went downhill from there… as we continued through the park we were disappointed to see a number of animals pacing in their enclosures. The pumas, wolves, skunk and anteater (to name a few) were all repeatedly pacing the same trail, clearly distressed. This really changed the mood of the day, seeing the animals in this state made my family both sad and concerned.
Although this experience “meets TripAdvisor animal welfare guidelines”, I felt that some of the animals were not treated very well. Their some of the enclosures were much to small and dark for the animals (especially the skunk and pumas …
We didn’t stop to get food or look at the gift shop. After seeing all the exhibits (within about 1-1.5hrs) we just wanted to go home because a lot of them were saddening.
Please consider this when making the decision to book this experience, I wouldn’t have gone to this having known what I know now.
