点评：So rude and shortsighted. We started cold and rainy day adventure at a local coffee shop. They recommended we visit Symposium as it is a local treasure. Ao supportive of this local business to support their community. So we walked through the quaint town to arrive at a beautiful patio excited for our experience. The operator greeted us and out of respect for a cultural center I asked to ensure we could have our beverages inside. She said “I have a coffee shop and restaurant andI cannot have you bringing in another business’s product”. So our option was to leave our newly purchased hot toasty coffee sitting in the rain wasted. Or we stay outside in the rain to finish our beverages. We chose to not waste our purchase and finish our beverage. To add insult to rudeness. We were never greeted again, welcomed into the space or thanked for asking politely about the beverages. We were ignored and avoided. We had planned to spend the morning. Have brunch. But wine. Perhaps even purchase souvenirs. Enjoy the rainy option. Instead this business chose to compete with a six euro coffee purchase and risk the loss of 60-100 or more euro win. The morals of this story. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Be like the other local business and support your community. Remember, what you give to people returns to you. I never write negative reviews. But I haven’t had one rude experience to date on my visit to Megalochori so I felt responsible to warn fellow travelers be weary of this business that is only welcoming to serve themselves.
