Fair Play Gambia的点评
点评：Dave appears to be a pleasant person. Unfortunately, the three-day trip he organised for us was remarkably unsuccessful.
After a six-hour journey in what can only be described as the most mechanically compromised taxi in The Gambia, we arrived at a campsite called “Hippo.” It is located by the river and bordered by one large official landfill and several smaller, unofficial ones.
The programme for the following day included a boat trip, palm wine tasting, and a visit to a chimpanzee island with a ranger. None of these activities took place as planned. The boat was severely underpowered and in poor condition, resulting in a very slow journey. The boat driver was notably unfriendly.
The palm wine site was not reachable by boat at an acceptable level of risk, and the producer was not present. Rangers were present at the island; however, we were informed that we had to keep a distance of 50 metres from them at all times.
Considering the price overall, not recommended.
