点评：Pacific Rim Distilling (PRD) is a great family- run operation, which has as its one focus PLACE & it is located in the place of Ucluelet on Canada’s Wild West coast, where place is writ large wherever one looks.
This terrior-driven distillery is thus a perfect fit for this singular ocean village locals refer to as Ukee.
It is in a wondrous rain forest where much can be foraged for in the making of these botanical spirits from the surrounds.
Luke, who is the owner & a fourth generation distiller, has place — what the French have widely made known as terroir — as his guiding vision.
One can taste echoes of the spectacular surrounds in every sip of his crafted products.
All are delicious.
I like the gin-based the most.
The range of crafted spirits PRD makes are available from its distillery on Forbes, which is centrally located in Ukee, just off the central street of Peninsula.
It is open mostly for sales just in the afternoon. PRD products are also available in many of the exciting bars & resto in Ukee itself, as well as
more generally.
Prices are good.
I come back each time to favorably review again & to buy another of its creatively crafted liquors.
