点评:We went December 5, 2024. I want to clarify some things I misunderstood from reading posted information.
We were fortunate that the sky was bright blue with those "puffy" clouds: no precipitation from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm.
The rainforest is on a "mountain". (Using quotes where my words are descriptive, but maybe not factually accurate).
The parking, which may be limited in busier times, is found at or adjacent to trail heads or points of interest along the road. That means it is spread out in stop overs along the road leading up toward the summit. The authorized parking for a popular site or due to similar visitor schedules driving up, can be filled (temporarily).
Some trails may be closed either longer term or short term. Still, a worthwhile day for anyone with a vehicle to get through the property. I particularly enjoyed seeing the WPA pool built into fresh running water.
Ww also went to the visitor center. $8 pp at this writing: limited discounts like National Parks Pass, military, available. The building is impressive, there is some local art exhibited, displays of flora and fauna, a movie, nature trail, snack bar. They do important outreach and education work that warrants the support of a paid admission.
