An Unforgettable Experience Full of Passion and Flavor

点评：We had the absolute pleasure of visiting this winery at the end of August, and it was an experience we will never forget. Despite booking at the last minute, we were warmly welcomed by Danilo, the owner, and his friend and colleague, who guided us through the visit. Initially, we thought he was simply helping out, but we later learned that he is actually the oenologist—deeply involved in the winemaking process. He was exceptionally running the tasting for us since the person who usually does it was unavailable, which made the experience even more special. Unfortunately, we’ve forgotten his name, and we feel awful for that—he was so generous with his time and knowledge!
We learned so much about the rich history of the property, and the winemaking process was explained to us with incredible passion. The wines we tasted were simply delicious, and we can’t wait to open the bottles we purchased and relive the memories. We were also treated to a cutlery board with cheeses and cold cuts, which were some of the best we’ve ever tasted—it has made everything we’ve eaten since pale in comparison!
To top it off, we had the opportunity to try cookies made with Sagrantino wine by Angelo’s mother, which were surprisingly delicious. But beyond the food and wine, what made this visit truly special was the kindness and generosity of Danilo and his colleague. They made us feel so welcome, and their passion for their work was evident in everything they did.
We can’t wait to return and see how their brand evolves—they deserve all the success in the world. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend a visit. You won’t be disappointed!
