Lovely afternoon escape, brilliant wines & excellent picnic

点评：Perfect trip out, wine tasting for the adults, a lovely picnic in the grounds of a wonderful historic park/Chateaux.
A last minute decision due to inclement weather forecast, our email at near 5pm answered immediately “yes, come at 10am” we had a private tour of the facility, both old and new, a wine tasting (half white half red), followed by a full and tasty picnic for 4 adults and a toddler (who just about managed to be entertained for the two hour tour and tasting)
We learned about their wines as well as learning more about the region generally. Our host “Innes”, was passionate and knowledgable, speaking great English and putting up with our terrible attempts at French (Pain ah chocolat is Not the proper name locally!). Innes was an angel with our 4 year old chasing around. A perfect mid day experience.
