I decided to visit them with my family for my birthday on August 13th and it must be one of the best birthdays i have ever had. Learning the history of how they make wines in the hole (which is called qvevri a historical method of making wine invented by ancient Georgians) and actually tasting the wine that it is made from that method really makes me think that what the ancient Greeks used to call "Nectar of God's" must be just that. Apart from that, the food, the company and the welcoming family that they are is SOMETHING NOT TO MISS. My advice, skip all the wine tastings on the usual big companies wineries and go directly to this winery and you will not regret it.
