Misleading information board
Broad Haven Beach的点评
点评：We decided to stop at Broadhaven beach whilst passing through. We had our dog with us so found an information board and had a look to see where she was allowed. Green arrow pointing left saying dogs allowed and red arrow pointing right saying no dogs. We went down the steps right next to the board and went left, as indicated. We had been on there for 2 minutes when someone came towards us and said we weren't allowed on the beach with our dog and gave us a fine for £75. We had passsed another dog and there were a few more a little further to the left so had no reason to think we were doing anything wrong. We asked about the sign but she had nothing to say. I contacted Pembrokeshire council to appeal the fine, with a photo of the sign that we had seen, but was told it was up to us to check where dogs are allowed and that it can be found on their website, the issue of the sign not addressed at all. Why would we check the website when there is a sign plainly stating dogs allowed and why is that sign there if that isnt the case? If we hadn't checked the information board, it would have been annoying, but it would have been our own fault. This just feels like we were tricked onto the wrong part of the beach and its very misleading to visitors who don't know the area.
