点评:We were a family of eight with two small children dining at the restaurant between the church and the Mexican restaurant. I’ll update the post once I get the name of the restaurant. The day and night was rainy so the restaurant lowered the panels on three walls as we were on an open patio. Within 15 minutes bats swooped in several times and kept hitting the panels trying to fly through the patio area. One landed on my husband’s shoulder which he immediately knocked off and stomped on it. We were traumatized by this event for the rest of our stay. Fortunately we left two days later, went straight to the emergency room for my husband to start the rabies vaccination protocol.
When we reached out to the restaurant requesting video and for them to exterminate the bats, their response was that the cameras were being updated so there was not a video and they had no bats.
Remember this: even though Altos is located within a high-end gated community of multi-million dollar homes, we are still in the welfare of a second world country with a third world mindset.
