点评：Our trip to Blue Lagoon Island was wonderful!!! We booked a "swim with the sharks" excursion through Carnival. There were 5 cruise ships in port that day, but even with that we were organized well and got on our tender to the island fairly quickly. We expect lines, it is what it is. Got on the transport to the island. It was a nice 20-25 minute ride with them pointing out lots of interesting things about the area. Getting to the island, we were given good instructions about where to meet for our excursion.
We had 1.5 hrs before so we opted to get a bite. This was a bit confusing as you bought tickets for the food trucks at one area, the buffet another and our conch fritters at another. But we managed just fine and the food was good!
We met our tour guide RENO and TAKIA and they were great! They walked us to the area where the sharks were and shared information along the way. It was a short 4-5 minute walk. Reno has a great personality and made everything fun. He introduced himself and had us all share a bit about us. He just shines!
Dominick was our trainer with the sharks and he was so knowledgeable and kind. He made everything fun and informative, but made sure all were safe. Going into it I wasn't sure how much we would get to interact with the sharks but it was well worth it!
Afterwards, we had about 1.5 hours to walk around the island. We checked out the dolphin area, the bar, the photo shop and 2 gift shops. We purchased our photos and were told we would receive them by Sunday (this was on a Thursday) and we actually got them on Friday with no problem.
I would recommend this staff and excursion to anyone who is looking to have fun! Thank you RENO!!!!
