Absolutely Brilliant day out! Highly Recommended! Kind and courteous, warm and welcoming family run business!
We started our morning in the tea rooms and we were met by the owner who gave us a quick health and safety and checked in on us all, making us feel at ease.
We went over to the field and were all introduced to our wonderful furry companion (our alpaca for the walk) who was individually matched to the person.
We walked for approximately 1 hour in a small group and were giving interesting facts and history of the beautiful alpacas and farm, it was taken at our own pace (and that of the alpacas) and we were able to ask questions along the way.
There were opportunities for photos with the alpacas at appropriate stops along the way and a cuddle with one of them at the end.
We had a child who has autism, so an adult was also required to walk the alpaca and we also had one more person who,as a spectator, you get the opportunity to walk along with the pack.
The facilities are fantastic and well adapted including for children. There is one toilet on site and an offer of wellies (free of charge to borrow)
We ended our walk by meeting some of the other alpacas and another cuddle photo opportunity at the end which again we felt relaxed and not rushed.
We then went back and had to try one of the homemade scones with jam and clotted cream! Absolutely delicious!
Highly recommended and We will be back for sure!
