Not impressed with the 'service' from the ticket office

点评：So, we were holidaying in the area and as the weather wasn't great, we decided to take the rail trip past Teignmouth and Dawlish and see the views.
We don't know the area. We rarely use tge trains and I was thankful to see a manned ticket office. I asked about the trip.
'Timetable is on the wall outside.....' was the response.
Bearing in mind that neither of us knew the area and had no idea as to where we needed our tickets to cover.
Yes, it might be a little irritating to have visitors ask questions which might be obvious to a local however said gentleman needs to put himself in our shoes. After all, the ticket office is there to offer a service.
Would have given 1...maybe 2 stars however was salvaged by the very helpful and friendly chappie Andrew on Platform 2 today 👍
