点评:The South Bay Trail starts beside the Kwisitis Visitor Centre, which is currently closed for renovations. It’s a 1.6 km out-and-back trail. Most of it is on an elevated boardwalk, though there are some dirt trail sections. The trail follows the shoreline with what would be beautiful views of the beaches if it wasn’t so foggy the day we were there. At the beginning of the trail there are signs that explain some of the traditions of the First Peoples in the region. There is one short steep part of the boardwalk, and about 45 stairs that go down to South Beach at the end, but overall it’s a pretty easy trail. The South Beach itself is made up of fine rocks, and there are some huge rock formations on the beach. It’s too rough to go in the water, but very cool to watch and hear the waves come crashing in.
