点评:I am pregnant and have chronic migraine, so my mom wanted to do something nice for me and purchased a massage for me as a gift. We looked at a bunch of local spots and were drawn towards Heavenly Healing Hands because the reviews for prenatal massage were so promising. I also prefer to support local businesses over chains like Massage Envy or something like that.
My mom paid for the massage and was instructed to have me text Donna to schedule my appointment, so I did. And this is when it started to get weird. I have the texts saved from this, I'm not trying to sabotage anyone's business, but I wish I would've known this before selecting this place and my mom lost her money.
1) A day before the appointment, I got a text that she had a family situation come up and had to reschedule. So, we did.
2) Then, the week we rescheduled for, I got strep throat (I work at a school, it was going around). I immediately went on antibiotics and texted Donna to reschedule for the following week. However, she asked me to wait at least 3 weeks to schedule because she claimed that antibiotics "don't always work" (?). So, whatever, I rescheduled a second time.
3) Then, when that appointment was approaching, she texted me to reschedule again because she "stepped on a nail and injured her foot" (she gave a very detailed description of how and why it hurt). I rescheduled... again.
4) Then, when the next appointment was approaching (this is now months after my initial appointment was supposed to be), she texted that she injured her hand and that we'd need to reschedule but that I'd "get priority." At this point, I just kindly asked that we get a refund and cancel my appointment. She didn't respond.
I proceeded to text over the next few weeks every few days asking if she received my message and when we would get a refund. Unfortunately, she continued to not respond.
I'm now thinking this is a scam, and not a real business... I'm super disappointed and feel awful that my mom paid for nothing. Am I the only one this happened to? None of the other reviews seem to mention an issue like this.
