Nature Caves Sri Lanka的点评
点评：We were given the details for Nature Caves in September by a close friend who had used them earlier in 2024. I enquired whether they would be able to provide a driver/guide in January 2025 and from that moment, received personalised help regarding the planning of the 16 day trip.
We were picked up at Colombo airport on 2nd January by Saminda and treated with a fantastic personalised service by a very friendly & kind man, dedicated to providing us with a truly wonderful experience of his country.
From lending us SL rupees until we visited a cash machine, advising us on good restaurants, buying us beer for a non-licenced restaurant, buying fruit at roadside shacks & helping us buy spices - nothing was too much trouble.
My Revolut card was retained in a ATM on the 2nd day of the trip. Saminda helped me contact the bank and because of the effect of a bank holiday arranged for the card to be sent to Mirissa where I picked it up later in the trip.
Saminda’s knowledge of the history of Sri Lanka, the places to visit & the people we met along the way was second to none.
We met a second driver (Imti) who also was such a helpful & genuine man, again dedicated to making us have a lovely & stress-free holiday.
Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with lots of variety of scenery & things to visit and see. However, the thing that stood out for us, was the warmth & friendliness of the Sri Lankan people epitomised by Saminda & Imti.
This trip will long stay in our memories thanks to Saminda & his team.
