Nice place to visit, but be carful driving in

点评：First, this is a long pretty beach and its nice to walk around. There are some shipwrecks to see andther e will be no one around If you are looking for a secluded beach. to spend the day. Now driving to this place was an adventure. Google Maps works well to a certain point. When you get to the resort dont go down the driveway. There will be a small sign(s) to direct you to the State park. Go that way. You'll end up on a narrow sandy road that is only one (small) car wide. You'll be driving down this windy, banked road for a few minutes without seeing anything but mangroves. Thats okay , just go slow around the bends. When you get NEAR the end where the road opens up a little, STOP, DO NOT CONTINUE or you will get your vehicle stuck in the sand (unless you have 4 wheel drive). Back your car up slowly, There are a a few nooks along the narrow part where you can park your car. You can park and just walk the rest of the way, its only a minute walk. Lucky us, because before we got to the end of the road, we encountered a couple driving out who warned us (thank you whoever you were). They had just spent an hour digging out their car. When you walk in, you'll see the evidence of stuck vehicles (ruts in the sand, and wood debris used to free up stuck tires). I was told local tow truck drivers charge $400 to get you out (God knows how a tow truck gets in there). Anyway, its worth the trip if you want a nice walk or to pack a lunch and spend the day at a secluded beach.
