泰坦尼克文物展的点评
点评：We drove and parked at the Luxor which houses this exhibit of Titanic artifacts. There were no other guests around when we got there on a Tuesday in the 5 o'clock evening hour so if you're looking to avoid crowds, this would be a good time. It took us 30 minutes to walk from the parking garage to the box office where you buy tickets onsite and then to get into the actual attraction. Originally, we were going to walk on The Strip and make use of FREE trams offered at Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay, but opted for more convenience by just driving and parking in the Luxor garage for a $20 flat rate.
We spent about 1 hour in total touring the exhibit. They allowed us to take pictures everywhere with the exception of the Grand Staircase. They wanted us to pay extra to have one of their professional photographers to take a commemorative photo. That completely turned me off, especially since I got ripped off buying tickets in the Luxor. Walking up to the box office right across from the exhibition, I was charged $138 for 3 adult tickets. I don't know what that was about since I can buy 3 adult tickets ($42.71 each) online from their website for only $128.13 four months later. Maybe, they've raised their rates, or perhaps, I'm just special. No one likes to feel cheated, so for that reason, I've dropped the rating in this review from good down to just plain average.
More proof of a bad deal by visiting this exhibition in Las Vegas can be illustrated by comparing it to the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition in Orlando, FL. Three adult tickets there would only cost $115.77 online. The Orlando location is not only larger, but also has more artifacts on display.
