Le Boat的点评
点评：The hand over was very comprehensive and the test drive of the boat was sensibly done to ensure both adults could handle the boat if necessary. We had opted for one of the biggest boats which came with two fridges which was great, and we’d also got the starter food hamper. I wouldn’t get this next time as we were able to shop immediately after we’d picked up the boat. The boat at pick up was clean and our trip was one of the most memorable family holidays we’ve had. The lakes are beautiful and this is such a good way to see them. We felt fully supported as had numbers to call if problems arose. We had no problems.
The negatives were we didn’t really know what the shops were like once out on the lakes so found ourselves running into supply issues - it would be helpful to be told exactly were there are shops and how well stocked they are individually. Ie. Some sell fresh produce some don’t.
We could have done with a spare lengthy rope as when we had to tie ourselves to a buoy on Colonel By island we nearly lost our boat hock and an arm trying to tie on. If we’d had a spare rope we could have tied on from the back and walked the buoy to the front of the boat. We ended up on our second stay - swimming to the buoy and having rope thrown down to attach and then be hooked up. Not the easiest option.
We heard other customers complaining about speed and air conditioning etc… but we’d already had it explained. It’s air cooling - so we knew it wasn’t going to be perfect. It’s a boat - it’s like glamping not like staying in a five star hotel. Personally we all loved our trip and I really want to come back. Canada is gorgeous and the people could not be kinder or more helpful. The lock masters make everything so easy and Le Boat offer a good service. I would recommend this as a great family holiday.
