Not an overrated stop!

点评：We missed this spot due to lack of time during our short May trip but I am happy we did as when we returned in December we actually managed to learn about the Quinta do Barbusano winery next door, so we visited both during one stop, which I very highly recommend (see separate review for details).
To arrive here is very easy, right off the main road - there is some parking room on the dirt road at this point. Looks like someone have built a house recently there so I wouldn't be shocked if one day they close the stairs from this side and only keep the other side open - yea the stairs... there is a lot of them and it's definitely not for everyone, especially if you have mobility issues or bad knees. Once at the top the views are great, and not being a religious person I still appreciated the visit.
The chapel is super small inside, it was closed during our visit - the bells ring at full hour so be prepared for some heavy noise :)
TIP: do check out Quinta do Barbusano winery, a very nice combo for certain in the area!
