Worth it, especially with a licensed guide (and don’t skip the museum)
Teotihuacan Pyramids的点评
点评：We had a really good experience visiting the Teotihuacan Pyramids. It’s one of those places that’s impressive in photos, but even more powerful in person once you’re walking the Avenue of the Dead and taking in the scale of it all.
The biggest thing I’d recommend: go with a registered/licensed tour guide. Having someone who could explain the history, symbolism, and layout made the entire visit so much more meaningful. Without that context, it would have still been interesting, but it wouldn’t have clicked the same way.
Also, do not skip the museum. It added so much depth to what you’re seeing outside, and it helped us appreciate the artifacts and the site's story rather than just viewing it as a set of ruins.
Only minor downside: the whistles being sold throughout the area got to be a bit much after a couple of hours (it’s constant). Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing if you’re sensitive to noise or hoping for a quieter atmosphere.
Overall, we’d absolutely recommend Teotihuacan to others.
