Dirty rooms were a let down

点评：We stayed for the weekend and arrived to a filthy room (literally like it had never been cleaned) which was very disappointing. We understand the rooms are basic but we expected them to at least be cleaned.
The wait times for evening meals is a joke. We went to Papa Johns and wasn’t advised once there was a wait. We alongside a lot of others waited around an hour and 10 for one pizza and one side. Someone else mentioned this is standard for later evening meals on site, we normally eat earlier so maybe haven’t experienced this yet. The salad also clearly isn’t washed at all, the lettuce was disgusting from the salad bar.
Cleanliness overall around site is a little up and down, the tables in the skyline pavilion were also disgusting and I feel as though they should have someone keeping on top of this as it’s so busy in there all day.
The shops should stock way more lunch items, both full days they had no sandwiches left around lunchtime and there are no gluten free sandwich options which would be great.
Some staff need to learn to smile and act happy too!
The swimming pool however is great, so much for the kids to do and it feels very clean, also VERY WARM which is a massive plus! There are some really good gluten free options available in the restaurants and most of the staff are very knowledgeable. Overall good value for money!
Not sure we would stay on site again in the future, overall disappointed with the accommodation more than anything else but the kids had a great time!
