Filthy, understaffed dump of a resort.
Butlin's Skegness Resort and Splash Waterworld的点评
点评：We booked a 4 night stay in July this year but ended up leaving after 3.
The room was filthy. My wife had to pick someone’s else’s toenail off the bottom of her foot after taking off her shoes and clumps of hair were getting stuck to my daughter’s toy off the carpet.
We paid for the all inclusive food and drinks, big mistake. The food was really poor. I mean we weren’t expecting Michelin star quality at Butlin’s but it was just tasteless slop, put together with no care at all. One night there was scampi that was like biting in to bullets, another night was curry that somehow had absolutely no flavour whatsoever, another night was “Korean noodles” which tasted like tinned Heinz spaghetti . Just poor. To be fair the breakfast was OK but you can’t really mess up a fry up.
The splash pool locker room stank of urine. There were ridiculously long queues for everything. We waited 45 minutes just to change our arcade tickets into a few plastic toys.
People were smoking everywhere. There were designated smoking areas and signs up saying no smoking, but this wasn’t enforced. Not nice when you’re walking around with 2 toddlers. That said, looking at the general clientele, they may not have been able to read the signs.
Circus was OK, nothing special. Plenty of other entertainment around which was also OK, nothing special.
Basically if you can afford anything better, do that instead. We certainly won’t be back.

马戏团还行，没什么特别的。周围还有很多其他的娱乐活动，也还行，没什么特别的。
基本上，如果你能负担得起更好的选择，那就去那里吧。我们肯定不会再来了。
