Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah Wilderness Study Area的点评
点评：Nothing prepares you for what you are about to see, although even finding this place is difficult in itself & an achievement. It is truly worth all the effort.
One of the most astonishing places we've ever visited, as others have stated .... overworldly is the only way to discribe this & the Bisti/De-Nah-Zin wilderness too.
As others have stated, this is over rough terrain to the unpaved car parking areas, the car park is also some distance from the rougher terrain you'll want to visit. There are no facilities at all here. You must ensure you've provided yourself every opportunity to track your way back to your car, there are no marked trails nor easily visible monuments to easily follow. Make sure you carry plenty of water & a compass, hats, sunscreen, there is very little shade here, certainly no mobile signal & even GPS is sketchy at times.
It is very easy to become discombobulated whilst enjoying these remarkable natutal phenomenon, be very wary as to where you walk as retracing your steps can be difficult.
You can and will want to spend hours & hours here, you'll take enormous amounts of photos but you'll never capture or truly believe what you see with your own eyes. An absolutely astounding place
