Ice Cream Not Worth Screaming For
High Lawn Farm的点评
点评：This place is highly over-rated and over-priced.
Visiting requires going well off the beaten path. Your are better off going to a more accessible ice-cream stand or getting a good brand at one of the many local markets.
The non ice-cream items at the store are at least 50-percent higher than reasonable and are readily available elsewhere for much lower prices. The same is true regarding their ice cream.
Further, I experienced the same rudeness regarding the retailer workers that others noted.
Everything, including the scoopers and the register, for buying cones is behind the counter in the store. I went to that counter to order two cones and a pup cup.
The young person behind the counter essentially ordered me to go outside and around the corner to order the ice cream. None of the flavors excited me, but I opted for the ice-cream stand standard of coffee Oreo. I would rate it above average but far below my favorite and much friendlier places back home.
On calling later, the front-line people were very unfriendly. I directly was told that the staff lacked any time to be responsive to customers.
I was told that the manager would pick up my call. She actively let it go to voicemail. I confirmed that she knew that knew about my message and chose to ignore it.
Both the manager and the absentee owner that almost never visits the farm ignored my e-mails.
Conversely, the owner of another ice-cream place that I learned is way out of the way for me participated in a friendly series of texts while driving a tractor.

相反，我后来得知住得离我很远的另一家冰淇淋店的老板，却在驾驶拖拉机时还和我愉快地发起了短信互动。
