点评：Guernsey and Jersey were fogged out yesterday. Local airline as usual did nothing to help as they do not seem to understand that some people actually need to get somewhere once they land in the UK. In our case a flight out of London long haul lunchtime the next day. We took the risk and jumped on a ferry to Poole arriving at 2210 in the evening.
On the boat we (obviously) met others in the same boat (excuse the pun) and found someone who would share a taxi Poole to Gatwick. I scanned the internet and Uber and found this company who were competitively priced. More over the lady on the phone was very professional and well organized. In 5 minutes we agreed a taxi and fare, I had an email for secure payment and as soon as paid I had an electronic confirmation. Our driver was waiting for us and we arrived at Gatwick at 0030. Good driving in difficult (low viz) conditions.
The whole process from phoning to getting to our destination was faultless. We will definitely keep this number!
