Good time - but not as advertised

点评：This was a great experience and I would do it again but some things were so different I actually came back here to check I had booked the right company, which I had done and used the online chat service...so I knew really.
So positive things- Mel and Anne were friendly and great sources of information. The area is beautiful, the falls unfortunately have been dry (non-existent) for 3 years now. The water was warm and very clear. There was no 'rush' to finish on allotted time. We had fresh made ham and cheese rolls and drinks offered freely including beer and cava ad soft drinks. We all had a great time.
However negative things were all about expectations of what is on the website and what then wasn't actually true.
It says on the home page -and this is a copy of exact wordings in quotes
'The Boat also comes with a fully shaded canopy area to avoid the hot sun as and when it’s needed' - there is a small canopy that mostly shades where Ann and Mel sit. Not the front or rear of the boat, important consideration if in hot sunny weather and you need shade.
'there is also a fresh water shower on board for your use along with complimentary snorkelling equipment during your trip if you’re feeling adventurous?'- no fresh water shower evident or offered and when we enquired about snorkelling equipment was told there wasn't any. Luckily we had bought some from home including some pool noodles for the children for confidence in the water. However with no snorkel vest one refused to go in the water at all.
'There is a very comfortable front and rear lounge seating, a sturdy table' - there was no table at any point and the front seats cannot be described as a lounge area. The boat seemed very much to be a different one to the ones in the photo and certainly smaller with less facilities.
'a small bow diving platform with two easy-on-easy-off deep water boat ladders for those that wish to swim from the boat' again not the same as seen in some of the photos (e.g. phot 46 of 47 in the gallery) and certainly only one ladder which even the young 9 year old struggled to get out of the water with let alone older ones amongst us.
'On-board we also have a fresh water shower for your use if you wish to wash off the salt water after an exhilarating swim in the Mediterranean'- as already advised not on the boat we were on.
'There’s no need to bring beach towels along with you as we also provide complimentary large clean fresh towels for your use during your trip'- no towels offered / provided for our trip at all
So all in all whilst the experience was good I left feeling as if I hadn't got what I had booked for and we didn't enjoy the day as much as we would have done if everything promised had been there.
