点评：I was driving through Winchester, Virginia when a big red barn caught my eye — Virginia Farm Market. It looked like something straight off a postcard: baskets of bright apples out front, pumpkins stacked high, and the smell of baked pies drifting through the air. I had to stop.
The moment I stepped inside, I felt that old-fashioned kind of charm that’s getting harder to find. Locals chatting about the weather, shelves full of homemade jams and honey, and fresh produce that looked like it came straight from the garden that morning. The bakery had warm and cold apple cider, cider donuts, apple butter & apple salsa YUMMMMMM and fresh bread cooling on the racks — it smelled like fall and comfort all at once. 🍯
What I loved most, though, was how everyone there made you feel like part of the community, even if you were just passing through. I left with cider, bread, Virginia Farm gear, and a happy heart.
If you ever find yourself in the Shenandoah Valley, make the stop. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why road trips are worth slowing down for — real people, real food, real smiles. ❤️
