Highly recommend Alpine Hikers!

点评：My husband, 21 year old son and I did a self-guided 7-day trip in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland with Alpine Hikers. From planning through the end-to-end trip experience, it exceeded our expectations in every way. Upfront, Troy did a lot of listening and asked a lot of questions about us and what what we were looking for. He came back with a plan that used one of the tours detailed on their website as a base, and then he tailored it to our trip goals, interests and hiking desires. He knows the area, the accommodation options and trails inside and out, which really allowed him to make the trip ring all the bells for us. We stayed in a combination of mountain inns and 3 star hotels -- all delightful in their own way. The mountian inns were particularly special experiences. The materials and resources provided to us so we could self-guide were thoughtful and thorough, making it incredibly easy to follow. We particularly appreciated the Alpine Hikers write-up about the hike plan for each day as it provided helpful info about the trails, the things we'd see along the way, route options, highlights of the places we'd pass through, etc. When we had questions or issues along the way (public transport, adjusting for unexpected weather, temporarily missing luggage, etc.) someone at Alpine Hikers always got back to us very quickly which was so reassuring and made the many logistics of a point-to-point self-guided international vacation roll really smoothly. I can't say enough about what pros Troy and his team are. We will do another self-guided tour with Alpine Hikers for sure and highly recommend!
