点评:We came across Willibald during the pandemic (or just before). I had never heard of the place but they had supported a Rotary Club of Brantford fundraiser (I am NOT a member) and I was intrigued by the name and the unique location (on a farm just south of Ayr). We have been paying regular visits to the site - mainly for the restaurant, but also for the gin and vodka they produce. We are not big beer drinkers, but friends tell us that the brewed beverages are excellent. The restaurant is lovely. A bit on the loud side when it gets full (which is often). The food is unique (e.g. squash toast), with lovely pizzas - one usually a “special” for the day, and a nice variety of hand-helds, burgers and salads. No fish! Service is excellent!!!!! Usually a couple of nice (and unique) desserts (e.g. blueberry/rosemary crème Brulé) All the servers are well-informed and the actual serving is done extremely well. Open Wednesday - Sunday from lunch until early evening.
