Great place to snorkel from shore

点评：We took a celebrity Cruise that stopped at the island. We rented a golf cart and headed straight to radio beach at the far south end of the island. The water was very clear and we saw a lot of fish around a rock and coral outcropping that went out about 30 yards. The water is shallow so it's easy access and gets you right up close to the fish. We easily saw 20 different species and often were just a couple feet from swarms of fish. We drove back into town and had conch and wings at a roadside stop then we went back in the afternoon and there were just a few people on the beach. I went back in and just a few feet from shore there was a humongous whip tail sting Ray hiding in the sand. It had to be 3 ft across and a two foot tail. I was about 6 ft away and he spooked and I watched him swim away. It was a great adventure, even driving the golf cart on the left side of the road was fun. I recommend spending your time and money south of the pier where the locals could use the income. It's a much more authentic experience there as well.
