点评:I'd climbed here with my son earlier in the year, I've left behind a chalk bag/bucket. I'd called a few days after and was informed they did have my chalk bag and would put it aside for me. I explained I wouldn't be able to get there for a few weeks, I was told that wasn't an issue. I called again a couple of weeks later to explain I couldn't make it, again no problem its here.
I returned a fair few weeks later only to be informed its not there anymore. At this point i spotted their lost property notice, explaining they only keep things for 30 days. This wasn't explained on the phone the 2 times i'd called. What I want to know is what happened to the brand new chalk bag/bucket? I'm certain it wouldn't be disposed of, maybe a free gift for a lucky member of staff, charity, landfill? surely not! this info isn't explained on the lost property notice. Whilst I understand you can't keep lost property for ever, 30 days for such a small Item, maybe a quick phone call to explain its being given away, even a reminder of their policy I wasn't aware of. A perk of the job I suppose.
